Electrical Fire in Bloomfield Hills

Our SERVPRO technicians spent 5 days on site cleaning after an electrical fire. Our immediate response helped complete the job quickly, saving both time and money. This fire occurred after a storm. The entire 2400 square foot, colonial home in Bloomfield Hills was filled with smoke and soot. The technicians used chemical sponges to clean the walls in preparation for painting. They were able to restore 90% of the homeowners contents by using SERVPRO products. Some of the chemicals used to "Make it Like it Never Happened" were Firestar, Industrial, Wall and All Plus, Ready to Use, Glass Cleaner, Lemon Oil Polish, Concentrated Wood Oil Soap, Stone and Porcelain Cleaner, Tile and Grout Cleaner, and Wintergreen Deodorizer. The insurance carrier for the homeowner, State Farm, was very pleased with the result because we were able to save money on the claim. We were able to restore, rather than replace many of homeowners personal items.
